Due to the COVID-19 crisis, LA City, LA County, and California are all considering similar shelter in place programs as seen enacted by San Francisco and surrounding counties.
UCBA is working with state and local governments to ensure legal cannabis businesses are recognized as essential. Our intent is to set precedent on that matter with LA County and City of LA so that all other governments understand the necessity of recognizing legal cannabis providers as essential businesses so that patients can continue to have safe access in a responsible manner.
