Armen Paronyan is the cofounder and Chief Executive Officer of LA Cannabis Company. In early 2007 Armen founded Organic Green Treatment Center, now known as LA Cannabis Company, one of 150 originating medical marijuana collectives in Los Angeles. Today, the company is comprised of eight cannabis licenses: three retail dispensaries, three cultivation sites, distribution, and manufacturing. LA Cannabis Co currently employs a staff of 55 people, generating over $1.5 Million a month in revenue. He has been leveraging successful investments and conducting market research to direct the company’s finances year after year. He uses leadership and vision to generate optimal strategies and ensure growth.
Armen is a member of the Executive Board of Directors of the United Cannabis Business Association (UCBA). He has helped shape the trajectory of business practice and policy throughout the region. In 2013, he spearheaded the fundraising committee for the Coalition of Collectives to Protect Patients and Neighborhoods; helping to raise over $2 million in support of the successful Los Angeles Proposition D campaign. Proposition D limited the number of presiding dispensaries in the city, increased safety regulations, and generated new tax revenue for the city. His commitment to the community has earned him the trust and respect of all key stakeholders including producers, government leaders, and regulators. He continues to transform the cannabis consumer experience and focus on excellence.
He demonstrates the importance of a healthy, active lifestyle by playing sports, traveling, and spending quality time with his family. Mr. Paronyan holds a Bachelor of Science, focusing on Consumer Science from California State University Northridge. He brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the industry, influencing and inspiring his constituents along the way.
